Indus­try ana­lysts say online adver­tis­ing will be very impor­tant for automak­ers, cut­ting their spend­ing on TV, mag­a­zines and direct mail. Through 2011, automak­ers will increase web spend­ing world­wide. Hyundai is dou­bling online ad spend­ing in 2008 over 2007.
