Strong Global Market Fuels Growth for Japanese Manufacturers


Japan­ese automak­ers main­ly report­ed growth in glob­al pro­duc­tion and exports in May, fueled by vig­or­ous growth in Asia, and emerg­ing mar­kets as the U.S. mar­ket soft­ens. Toyota’s glob­al pro­duc­tion was up 3.6% in May, to 805,948 vehi­cles, while glob­al pro­duc­tion in May for Nis­san was up 5.1% in May, to 275,918 vehi­cles.
