EPA Agrees to California Standards for Auto Emissions

Detroit Free Press - June 30, 2009

Obama administration rules supersede state rules for 2012 to 2016, but the EPA has issued a policy allowing California and 13 other states to set their own standards, which are expected to coincide with federal regulations and have no immediate affect on automakers and will hopefully lead to a national standard.
