Honda Recalls Fit, CR-V for Window Issues

Hon­da is recall­ing 962,000 vehi­cles world­wide to fix prob­lems with pow­er win­dows and com­put­er sys­tems. Of that num­ber, 936,000 Fit sub­com­pacts, CR-V crossovers, and Fit Arias are being recalled due to a defects in the driver’s side pow­er win­dow switch that could cause it to melt and catch fire. Hon­da says there have been no injuries due to the defects. Hon­da is also recall­ing 26,000 CR-Z com­pact hybrids world­wide due to pro­gram­ming prob­lems with the engine con­trol unit.
