Ford C-MAX Hybrid 2012

Wall Street Journal - December 14, 2011

Ford plans to add two new hybrids to its 2012 lineup in an attempt to leap ahead of Toyota in fuel efficiency. The cars, called the C-MAX hybrid and C-MAX Energi plug-in hybrid, will achieve better combined fuel economy than the current Prius v hybrid wagon, which is rated to go 42 miles on a gallon of gas in combined highway and city driving.
