Analysts See Bright Future for U.S. Vehicle Sales

For the sec­ond year in a row, car­mak­ers expect to add more than 1 mil­lion sales in the U.S. LMC Auto­mo­tive Ana­lysts project sales for 2011 to total 12.7 mil­lion, a 9.5 per­cent increase from 2010’s 11.6 mil­lion. They also esti­mate a steady rise to 13.8 mil­lion sales in 2012, 15.4 mil­lion in 2013 and 16.2 mil­lion in 2014, restor­ing Amer­i­can sales to pre-reces­sion nor­mal­cy.
