Consumers Choose Fuel-Efficient Cars in March - March 15, 2012

The lat­est indus­try analy­sis indi­cates that con­sumers are buy­ing new cars, but they are more care­ful­ly look­ing for fuel effi­cien­cy in sub­com­pact, com­pact and mid­size mod­els, mak­ing up 40 per­cent of all cars sold in March. Con­sumers are hot on the trail of the Chevy Son­ic, Ford Fusion, but the Toy­ota Cam­ry and Nis­san Alti­ma did very well in the mid-size seg­ment.
