Detroit Automakers Gain in Supplier Relations

- May 14, 2012

While none of the top 6 automakers changed places in the supplier survey of customer relations, Chrysler Group gained 12 percentage points although still in last place. Toyota’s rating fell 9.5 percent, but it’s still in first place – followed by Honda, Ford, Nissan and GM. A convergence of improved relationships can help automakers lower their costs, improve quality and spur innovation.
