Los Angeles was given the E-Visionary award by World Electric Vehicle Association. Acknowledgements included the LA Dept. of Water and Power offering customers rebates up to $2,000 on home charging stations; and implementing EV ready building codes; and the Mayor’s Office supporting growth of EV companies doing business in town – Coda Automotive, BYD, and Boulder EV… A webinar panelists that included former GM vice chairman Bob Lutz talked about the market trend of electric vehicles gradually shifting for consumers from a mental, dollars-and-sense decision to an emotional experience.
