A Trust for America’s Health study shows that states where fatal­i­ties caused by car acci­dents are very high are also states that are doing the least to pre­vent those acci­dents. Includ­ed in that report is a by-state analy­sis of CDC data on auto fatal­i­ties and the poli­cies states use to pre­vent car crash­es. No. 1 on the list is Mis­sis­sip­pi, fol­lowed by Mon­tana, Alaba­ma, Wyoming and Arkansas.
