Chrysler Quality Ratings Drop in Latest Study

Dogged by tech­nol­o­gy prob­lems, Chrysler dropped sev­er­al notch­es in the J.D. Pow­er and Asso­ciates 2012 Ini­tial Qual­i­ty Study. Chrysler brand fell nine rank­ings, to No. 25, despite a suc­cess­ful launch of the Chrysler 300 sedan. Chrysler Group’s oth­er brands, Jeep, Dodge and Ram, climbed 2, 3 and 8 spots respec­tive­ly to help the automak­er post a 6.6 per­cent improve­ment over its results in last year’s study.
