At 2.3%, Auc­tion­Net whole­sale prices expe­ri­enced deep­er decline in Octo­ber than 2% aver­age fall that had been observed over pre­vi­ous 3 months; But down­ward move­ment was slight­ly bet­ter than what is typ­i­cal­ly seen over month and was sig­nif­i­cant improve­ment over 4% drop record­ed in Octo­ber 2011.

NADA Expects UV Prices will Out­per­form Pre-Sandy Expec­ta­tions in Decem­ber by between 0.5%-to-1.5% at Nation­al Lev­el:
Degree of improve­ment deter­mined pri­mar­i­ly by num­ber of units that are dam­aged and removed from oper­a­tion as a result of storm.

Mid-Size Car and Mid-Size Van Depre­ci­a­tions Top at 3.9% and 3.7% Respec­tive­ly:
Trucks were more on par with mar­ket aver­age in Octo­ber, and large pick­ups fell high­est at 2.8%.

Lux­u­ry Car Depre­ci­a­tion at 2.3% while Lux­u­ry Truck Fall of 1.9%:
Octo­ber marked 3rd month in row where lux­u­ry out­per­formed mar­ket at large.
