Increased mar­ket sta­bil­i­ty occurred in spite of fac­tors that would nor­mal­ly hold val­ues back, includ­ing many auc­tions with low­er phys­i­cal atten­dance, extreme cold tem­per­a­tures in many parts of the coun­try, and reports indi­cat­ing late-mod­el vehi­cles strug­gling to get sold at any price.

Car Seg­ments Dipped just -$49 in Past Week:
Entry Mid-Size and Com­pact Cars con­tin­ue to trend above over­all seg­ment aver­ages.

Truck Val­ues Had Less Decreas­ing Val­ues for 3rd Straight Week:
Com­pact Pick­ups and Mid-Size Pick­ups demon­strat­ed price increas­es.

Black Book Edi­tors Saw Largest Per­cent­age of Increas­es (41%) in Adjust­ments over Last 4 Weeks:
Tide may have start­ed to turn as many vehi­cles were more sta­ble on the mar­ket dur­ing this past week.
