To streamline the process, PHH established Fleet Direct, which enables the company to handle requests in a strategic fashion and helps eliminate room for error.
Fleet Direct is the next step in PHH business process management technology that combines process automation with individual client requirements that are used to execute transactions with reduced processing time and improved quality. Through Fleet Direct, PHH is able to gather the necessary data directly from clients. The system organizes and executes the transaction accordingly.
The efficient process allows for flawless execution and a reduced touch time – one specific example in PHH’s Remarketing areas showed a reduction from 14.6 minutes/sale to 2.5. “When the system is used to process a sale request it provides real-time guidance and instruction to ensure that all of the necessary information – tax, title and other state sale and leasing requirements – is entered to ensure a smooth transaction,” said Terry Whalen, PHH Remarketing associate.
