More Cars on US Roads, Experian Automotive Says

The num­ber of cars on US roads has been increas­ing. The lat­est Exper­ian Auto­mo­tive Quar­ter­ly Brief­ing report says that there were 249.4 mil­lion vehi­cles in oper­a­tion dur­ing the sec­ond quar­ter of this year, com­pared to 247.9 mil­lion a year ear­li­er. About 25% ar from 2010 or lat­er mod­els; 93.3 mil­lion of the vehi­cles are in what Exper­ian labelled the “sweet spot” – 2003 to 2009 mod­el years.
