Open recalls continue to take center stage in the news, like this recent story by . Consumer reporter Ruth Spencer finds a Detroit-area parking garage filled with open recalls, many of them family-oriented vehicles like SUVs and minivans. Nationwide, one out of every five vehicles has at least one unfixed safety recall, according to CARFAX®.
