Toyota Hires Impressive Artificial Intelligence Gurus for Self-Driving Cars

The New­ly formed Toy­ota Research Insti­tute (TRI) has announced the tech­ni­cal lead­er­ship team and advi­so­ry board.

This means that Toy­ota is seri­ous about Self Dri­ving Cars and not going to allow Google or Apple to upstage devel­op­ment, the tech­nol­o­gy, or pro­duc­tion.

Toy­ota has a bil­lion-dol­lar plan to devel­op arti­fi­cial intel­li­gence tech­nol­o­gy that under­pins self-dri­ving cars.
