NADA Used Car Guide
January wholesale used vehicle prices were nearly flat, down just 0.1% from December. It was slightly worse than the 0.3% rise averaged for the month during the previous five years. NADA Used Car Guide’s price index dipped 0.3% month-over-month to 122.2. In January 2015, the index came in at 125.5, 2.6% above January 2016.

Subcompact cars had largest mainstream vehicle decline, falling by 0.8%.
Auction Volume of Vehicles Up to 8 Years Old Grew by 38% in January:
While up sizably from December, volume was 4% lower than same period last year.
Used Vehicle Prices Expected to Go Up 1% in February and 2% to 2.5% in March:
Mainstream segments should go up 1% to 1.5% in February, while luxury should be flat.
