New Mobile Technologies Roll Out for Dealers and Remarketers

  • New­CarIQ and Red­Bumper solu­tions acquired: CDK Glob­al, Inc., to offer deal­ers an inte­grat­ed new and used car inven­to­ry man­age­ment solu­tion. New­CarIQ brings a tool for deal­ers to stock the best new vehi­cles and man­age OEM incen­tives, and Red­Bumper pro­vides a used vehi­cle inven­to­ry man­age­ment solu­tion. Both com­pa­nies were acquired from Pearl Tech­nol­o­gy Hold­ings, LLC – an auto­mo­tive tech­nol­o­gy incu­ba­tor. Deal­ers can inven­to­ry vehi­cle appraisals, pric­ing and syn­di­ca­tion to web­sites, incen­tive stack­ing, ana­lyt­ics, stock­ing rec­om­men­da­tions, com­peti­tor mar­ket com­par­isons, report­ing, enter­prise man­age­ment, group trade, for­mu­la pric­ing, stair-step pric­ing and much more from one plat­form. “CDK is focused on pro­vid­ing a seam­less easy-to-use expe­ri­ence for all of our deal­er clients,” said Mal­colm Thorne, chief glob­al strat­e­gy offi­cer at CDK Glob­al. ”
  • Wel­come­Point tool for ser­vice depart­ments:   for deal­ers, called Wel­come­Point. The new prod­uct is aimed at enhanc­ing the greet­ing and write-up process, and oth­er facets for improv­ing the vehi­cle ser­vice expe­ri­ence. Wel­come­Point has been designed by Auto­Point to per­son­al­ize the ser­vice process through cus­tomer engage­ment. It also helps deal­ers to use the ser­vice dri­ve space to jump­start the inspec­tion process and proac­tive­ly sug­gest ser­vice rec­om­men­da­tions.
  • ReverseRisk acquired: ReverseRisk, a web-based ana­lyt­ics report­ing plat­form for deal­ers. ReverseRisk deliv­ers crit­i­cal busi­ness infor­ma­tion and ana­lyt­ics to deal­ers, pro­vid­ing detailed insights into deal­er­ship per­for­mance and oper­at­ing results. ReverseRisk deliv­ers “smarter, faster, bet­ter – that can lead to improved oper­at­ing results and deal­er­ship per­for­mance,” said Robert Bur­nett, senior vice pres­i­dent for Busi­ness Devel­op­ment and Acqui­si­tions at Reynolds.
  • Stock­wave: As report­ed ear­li­er this month, , what it calls a “game-chang­ing inno­va­tion that seeks to trans­form the way deal­ers source and pur­chase auc­tion vehi­cles.” Dale Pol­lak, vAu­to founder, describes it as a tool for deal­ers that gives deal­ers ease, effi­cien­cy, and insight as they source auc­tion vehi­cles. Stock­wave gath­ers data to show vehi­cle seg­ments where deal­ers should acquire more inven­to­ry or reduce cur­rent units in stock. The next step in the process pro­vides direct inte­gra­tions with lead­ing auc­tions across the coun­try.
