Trucks.com Startup Publication Wants Auto Industry Executive Feedback

Trucks.com Inter­na­tion­al Inc. launched the pub­lic pre­view of its truck­ing news and analy­sis web­site and would like to get your feed­back. Trucks.com will chron­i­cle the tech­nol­o­gy break­throughs, report­ing on devel­op­ments and pro­vid­ing insights from wide­ly rec­og­nized lead­ers in the truck­ing world – and on com­mer­cial truck used vehi­cle val­ues.
Web­site vision­ary, and for­mer Edmunds.com vice chair­man, Jere­my Anwyl was named the CEO of Trucks.com. Anwyl tapped Los Ange­les Times vet­er­an Jer­ry Hirsch to be Edi­tor and Vice Pres­i­dent of Con­tent. “With the impor­tant role that truck­ing plays in all facets of our econ­o­my, it’s the per­fect time to build a world-class news orga­ni­za­tion with a man­date not only to cov­er events, but also to dig deep­er and pro­vide insights so we all can under­stand where our indus­try is head­ed,” said founder Bruce Gold­en­berg.

Dur­ing the pub­lic pre­view peri­od, Trucks.com will active­ly use feed­back to improve con­tent and fea­tures for mem­bers of its audi­ence, who can send feed­back to [email protected].

The uses the Sin­gle-Vehi­cle Lookup, pow­ered by Truck Blue Book, to find detailed val­ues for medi­um- and heavy-duty trucks. Fea­tures include retail and finance val­ues, stan­dard-based truck mod­els, and quick VIN search. The Truck Blue Book is part of the val­u­a­tion guides. Price Digest is a part of Pen­ton.
