Honda Pushes ‘Safety-For-Everyone’ Strategy

Honda is recognized for building vehicles designed to protect occupants in the event of an accident. Now the automaker is turning its attention to offering greater safety to pedestrians as well. Expanding the space between the engine and hood to reduce and prevent head injuries and using sensors to raise the vehicle’s hood slightly in the event of a collision with a pedestrian are two areas of extended protection outside the vehicle.
